Bookmarks in RTf email

If you use Word as your email editor, you can insert a
hypertext link to a bookmark in the message.ie an internal
hyperlink. When you send it the hyperlink seems to be
stripped out. he recipient cannot, thus, click their way
through a long message.

So my question is (it's driving me potatoes!: How do you
place an internal hyperlink in a plaintext or RTF email??

Any help really gratefully received.
