I F-disk my hard drive and have reinstalled windows XP
and Microsoft outlook 2000. Before the reinstall when I
opened outlook It would open to the inbox and across the
bottom of the page it would say( conneting to the server)
then show downloading (example) 1 0f 10 e-mails then 2 0f
10 and so on. Also on the left side on the bottom it
would show how many e-mails were in the box. I cannot get
this setting back. Can someone please guide me on finding
these settings

Look at the second line of Help | About Microsoft Outlook. Does it say
Internet Mail Only or Corporate/Workgroup? It sounds like you may have
configured a different mode when you reinstalled.
