Breaking up Master Projects

I have a 3200 line project that I need to break up into 10 subprojects.
Obviously with these number of lines, there are an inordinate amount of
successor/predecessors that will cross subprojects which now will become
"links". I started the linking process but it is extremely tedious. Is there
a faster way of doing this?

D Pingger,
Not really. The process could be automated with VBA and as a matter of
fact I have a macro that does exactly the opposite. But other than that,
you can look forward to a lot of tedious work.

I VBA too, exactly what does your macro do?

Thanks

Ping,
Basically, my macro takes a dynamically consolidated master file with
external links between subprojects and converts it to a static master
wherein the external links are converted to standard Predecessors and
Successors. I'll tell you up front, the macro is not freeware but if you
want more information write me direct. Note: I suspect a problem with my
e-mail recently so if you send me a note leave a response to this thread
saying you did.
