I have just completed a book with words and images, and am told by the
copying shop that many of the images need brightening. Should be easy: Word
has two icons-More Brightness, Less Brightness-that are on the tool bar. The
problem is they are greyed out, and I can find no way to activate them.
Curiously, they come to life only when I highlight them at their source in
the Personalize/Caategories/Commands list . But as soon as I exit that list,
they go dead again.
I have a self-standing Windows 2000 running on WinSP (Sp1), and except for
this glitch it hasn't given me any problems before.
