Hello. What is the most efficient way to bring a music mailing list
from Entourage 2001 to Entourage X. I'm running 10.3 OSX. Do I need to
export all contacts in OS 9.2.
By Mailing List, do you mean an Address Book Group? And is your intent
only to copy over this one Group rather than your entire Address Book?
(If not, see below.)
You can export a Group by dragging it from your Entourage 2001 Address
Book to the desktop. This will create a text clipping that looks
something like this:
Test Group
Test Person 1 <
[email protected]>
Test Person 2 <
[email protected]>
Now transfer the clipping to your OS X machine and create a new Group
in Entourage X. Drag the text clipping onto the body of the Group, and
everyone should be added in. You'll get a spurious entry for the Group
title (in this case, "Test Group") which can be removed.
If you want to import all of your contacts from Entourage 2001, choose
File > Import in Entourage X. This will give you a clean import of
your Entourage 2001 data, provided you can access it from the
Entourage X machine. If you need further assistance with this, let us
