I am having conflicts with Entourage and Explorer/Safari. Safari seems
more stable for this, but does have problems with one site
(friendster.com).
Basically, if I am signed onto a site that requires a username and
password AND entourage checks mail by a repeating automatic schedule
the browser loses contact with the site and forgets that I am already
signed in. In particular, staples.com does this with explorer. I sign
in, browse the site, even loading up my cart, entourage checks in the
background, suddenly explorer has lost all connection with the site
and says that I need to change my browser to accept cookies.
My explorer java settings are such (safari is similar)
Java enabled-yes
log java output-yes
alert on exception-no
log java exceptions-yes
Security options
check all code
apple host access
restrict access to non-java class files-yes
What should I change or is there a simple fix out there?
