Hi
Found a interesting bug!
Environment:
MS Outlook 2003 SP1
MS Windows 2000 SP4
The following are the steps to replicate the problem:
1. In Tools->Options->Preference->Email Options,
set 'When forwarding a message' to 'Attach original
message'
2. Click 'Ok' button twice to come out of options
3. Choose a mail with multiple attachment and click
forward - this will create a new mail
4. Open the attached mail
5. Copy the attachments
6. Close the opened mail (of step 4) - it will ask a
question "You placed a large amount of data on
Clipboard. Do you want these data to be available
to Microsoft Office Outlook or other programs after
you close this window?"
7. Click "Yes" - THis will take you back to the mail
created in Step 3
8. Paste the files in this mail
9. Open any of the files, it will be having the same
contents of the first file!
Is this a bug in Windows or is it in Outlook??? Can someone post this
bug to Microsoft or let me know how to post it?
