Bug in PowerPoint Viewer 2003

Hi - screen tips don't work in the new Powerpoint Viewer
with Office 2003 Beta 2 refreshed.

Do package to CD - insert CD all runs OK except
screentips don't work - load same pps into PowerPoint
2003 run slideshow screentips work

Help !

Screen tips have never worked in the Viewer, new or old. Microsoft will
tell you this is by design. I'm not sure why the Viewer does not support
screen tips, but it isn't a bug - - it's just an unsupported feature.

What Sonia said. But as an aside, I wouldn't rely on any testing you do on
a computer with the beta installed.
