Bullet alignment

I can't find where or how to change bullet alignments.
When I use the bullet button, my list is indented about
five spaces before the bullet. I want the bullet to align
at the left margin. Suggestions? Thanks

Hi Mary

you need CSS to do this IE and Opera use margin and
netscape/Moz uses padding to set indent, so we use both -
in the head of your page
