Bullet Point Formatting - changing colour

W

WaggaRMP

I am using Publisher 2007. I am having difficulty finding a way to change a
bullet point from the default black colour to a different colour. I am also
wondering if it is possilbe to creat yoru own bullet point in much the same
way as you are able to with Word 2007. Importing text from Word 2007 into
publisher is clumsy and doesn't really solve my problem.
many thanks

I should also note that I want to have the bullet point in one colour but the
text as black.
Thanks again!

Turn on the non-printing characters. Select the paragraph marker at the end
of the bulleted line (not the bulleted text). Format - Font - change the
color. You can change the bullets by highlighting the same paragraph marker
and selecting Format - Bullets and Numbering.

Thanks JoAnn
I can't seem to get this to work for me. Following your direction of
highlighting the paragraph marker and doign Format - Font - change colour -
it actually changes the bullet point and not the font.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Perhaps I also don't understand how to turn on the non-printing characters.
Thanks again

I thought you wanted to change the bullet point? If not the bullet itself,
do you mean the entire bulleted line? As in make one bulleted item red,
leave the rest black? Do you want the bullet itself to be red or black?

On your toolbar, beside the scale is an icon ¶. Click that to turn on
non-printing characters.

Thanks JoAnn
I've got it working the way I need it now - I was wanting to colour the
bullet point blue and leave the text black. I'm not sure if you are able to
customise your bullet points into your own images like you can with WORD 2007
though. I am trying to replicate a "water drop" bullet point that I use in
Word and PowerPoint.
Thanks again

Is it a graphic or a font?
