Business Contact Manager and Exchange 2003

Is it possible to run BCM if you connect to Exchange via POP3,
IMAP4, or HTTP? I will not be using SBS.

Or will it be necessary to configure Outlook 2003 with a seperate
profile just for BCM?

Thanks for any help on this.
