I am having serious problems with Business Contact
Manager and Outlook 2003. Essentially, I can't link any
emails to an account or contact, though I can link any
other item.
Here is what I have done:
Re-install of Windows XP + all updated
Clean install of Office 2003 and BCM
Creation of new profile/pst
Start up of PC with only essential services running (no
other startup programs/service)
Scanpst of pst file
Recreation of BCM files
Yet, the problem is repeatable in all circumstances EVERY
time. When I try to link an email to an account or
contact, or run the Link Emails options, I get an error
message saying the error will be reported to Microsoft.
Yet they say they haven't received any such reported
errors from me (and it has happened dozens of times!)
I am getting rather frustrated because I want to use BCM,
but it somehow will not work properly. Any ideas?
