calculate day using date

I am trying to calculate the number of days between 2 dates excludin
weekends. Is it possible to find out using a formula a specific day o
the week by using a date field. This would help me to remove th
weekends and calculate only working days. I do not have days of th
week in my spreadsheet and would like to be able to work it out fro
dates only.

Hi Johnnyb

Use the NETWORKDAYS Analysis ToolPak function.

See Help on this and note that the Analysis ToolPak has to be
installed and selected as an addin.

Thanks for thanks. You might also find the WORKDAY function useful for
calculating future dates.
