Calculating the difference in dates

Hi,

I need my spread sheet to look at two dates, eg. 2003/12/01 an
2004/10/01 for example, which will be entered in another locatio
manually

It must then give me the output of 0 years, 11 months. How can I g
about doing this. I can get the years to calculate appropriatelyk, bu
I cant get the months to do the same, as it works differently. From De
2003 to Oct 2004 is not 1 month, but 11.

Can anyone help, or direct me to a thread that already explains this?
