Calculating Year, Month and Day of Service

S

ScottM

Ok, I've managed to teach mysels about the DateDiff
function and I can calculate all of the above from a date
in the past [ServiceDate] and Date(). The problem I have
is, with a ServiceDate = 10/01/1994 and Date() =
09/01/2004, I get 10 years 119 Months 3624 Days.

How do I get a running count of 9 years 11 months 2 days?

TIA

You may want to try MVP Doug Steele's more complete DateDiff function here:

http://members.rogers.com/douglas.j.steele/Diff2Dates.html

Copy and paste all the code to a new standard module, compile, and save.
From the Immediate Window.....

?Diff2Dates("ymd", #10/01/1994#, Date(), True)

...I get:

9 years 11 months 1 day
