Calendar Alerts if scheduling at a already taken time -- is this afeature?

Is there a setting that will give an alert/warning should I schedule a
meeting during a time I already have something scheduled. I assumed this
would happen, but find my self double booked at times. Any suggestions
appreciated. Thanks.
