Calendar and Address Book

We are running Entourage, ver. 11.1.0 (040913). I just setup my e-mail
account and delete it. However, when I clicked on Calendar or Address
Book, my Calendar and Address Book still displayed. How do I remove my
Calendar and Address Book? Thanks.

If you want to "start over", you can just go to Entourage > Switch Identity
and create a new identity.

Entourage is intended to be a complete personal information manager that
handles multiple e-mail accounts. As a result, adding or deleting e-mail
accounts doesn't effect your local Address Book/Calendar/etc.

Thanks very much for your quick response, Mickey. So, anyone can open
Entourage and see my Address Book/Calendar, etc. Can my email messages be
seen also even though I have deleted my email account? Thanks.

Correct. If security is an issue, you should investigate putting a password
on your computer so that when you leave it, others can't use it. You can do
this by enabling a screen saver password.

Messages that are stored locally (under "Folders on My Computer") can be
viewed in Entourage regardless of whether the account that received them has
been deleted.

Regarding to question #2, if I remove Entourage and reinstall it, can my
messages still be viewed locally? Is there a way to prevent my messages
downloaded to my computer after I reinstall Entourage? Thanks.

By default, removing & reinstalling Office will not remove your data. Your
data is stored not in the "Microsoft Office" folder, but in the "Microsoft
User Data" folder in your home's "Documents" folder. If you delete your
identity folder from the "Office 2004 Identities" folder there, that will
delete all of your Entourage data.

prevent Entourage to download email messages, calendar, contacts, etc. to
the local drive? Thanks.
