Calendar Appoints Created in Outlook 2007 Do Not Display in Entourage 2004

Hello,

I am currently in the process of migrating from Microsoft Windows
Vista and Office 2007 Professional to a MacBook Pro with Office for Mac
2004. So in this process it is not uncommon for me to go between my
Windows box and MacBook Pro. I have Microsoft Outlook 2007 on my Vista
PC and Entourage 2004 on my Mac. Both are back-ended by a Microsoft
Exchange 2003 SP2 server. The interesting issue is any new calendar
appointment that is created or edited in Microsoft Outlook 2007 does
NOT show up in the Entourage 2004 calendar even though these two
applications should just be a front-end to Microsoft Exchange.

Can you see them on OWA??

Yes, I can see them in OWA, my Windows Vista / Outlook 2007 and on my
Treo 700w that is doing Exchange Active Sync. I've been racking my
brains over this one because I don't understand how the client can't
see an appointment that is ultimately being stored on the back-end in
Exchange. I can re-produce this issue with no problem as I live and
die by my calendar as a consultant. I'd be more than happy to provide
any logs on both boxes and detailed versions of what version of Windows
Server and Exchange we're running.

Hi Jeremy!

Sorry if this sounds simplistic but are you making sure to view your
Exchange calendar and not a local calendar? So long as you see your new
items appearing in OWA, there's little reason why they shouldn't appear
in Entourage.

As a troubleshooting method, you can use the Switch Identity feature to
create a new Identity and connect to the same account. If you still
don't get new items, then I'd speculate something is wrong either with
your account or the server. If necessary, test with someone else's
account to see if the same thing happens. This will narrow the problem
to either the account or the server.
