calendar data not synchronizing

M

Molly

Hey all:

I have a user who has everything except calendar synchronization running
properly. It's as if it's syncing data to a locally stored calendar (the one
he's been using up since *before* the exchange update was released, and that
local calendar is not syncing with the server calendar.

If the user posts a meeting in OWA, it does not sync on his local calendar.
But if he sends or receives meeting requests to anyone in the organization,
the meeting shows up on the local calendar, the internal person's calendar,
but not OWA.

Help?

I have the identical problem. Hope someone has a solution.

I have the identical problem. Hope someone has a solution.
I also have the exact same problem , and the really maddening thing is we
have not changed a thing. I now have people inviting me to meetings that I
can can not attend as I am already booked for another meeting, which I
scheduled in Entourage, but the other users (who use Outlook 2001 still) can
not see the changes. They also can not see that a meeting that was
scheduled for this morning has been cancelled.

Outlook Web Access also does not see the changes. Really flaming weird.

I hope someone at Microsoft is listening to this...

Have you tried trashing the Microsoft Userdata Folder, reboot, and relunch
Entourage? Make sure you back up any contacts/calendar items that have not
synced. This seemed to work for me.

Its just slow as hell.

Eric,

Why ever would you trash the MUD?? It contains scripts, sound sets and,
most importantly, Identity folder(s) with your database and all your
messages, contacts, notes, etc. Next time you start Entourage, you get a
new MUD with a blank new identity and database while all of your old data is
gone and irrecoverable (unless you backed it up, in which case we're back to
my first question).
