Calendar Duplicates

I see that others have this problem, too. But I still have 2 questions about it. First, is the cause known? I am synching Entourage with iCal, etc., and MM. Will stop anything, if I know it's causing the problem. Second, is there a way to get rid of the calendar duplicates, or do I have to do it manually? This will be the 3rd time...if the problem is build into Entourage, then the wonderful features of the program are not worth this downside. Thank you - Karen

More or less:
- Exchange sync with 2007 (especially for recurring events you modify)
- Recurring events through SyncServices.
I am synching Entourage with iCal,

To eliminate the duplicates, here is how I process:
- I always enter all events in Entourage and I always assign a category.
- Create a view in Entourage for all messages.
- Categories don't sync, so in the All messages list, all the messages
without a category are duplicates...
