I wish to reformat my HD

Does anyone know how I can save my calendar events?

The easiest way to save everything is to make a copy of your identity
folder. The location of your identity folder is discussed here:

If you only wish to export calendar events, consider using Paul Berkowitz's
"Export-Import Entourage" script set ($20). You can choose what you want to
