Calendar Invites to Outlook recipient

I'm using Entourage at home and mailing calendar invites to a friend at a
company that uses Exchange Server and Outlook. When my friend opens the
invite and reads it, an automatic "Accepted" response is sent back to me,
although my friend hasn't touched the Accept/Decline/Tentative buttons.
Looking at attendee status for the event in my Entourage calendar shows "No
response" as the status. Is there something in Outlook that would be mailing
back an automatic "Accept" when the mail is opened and can it be turned off?

Thanks for any help!

Your recipient probably has auto-accept enabled. This feature is in
Tools | Options | Calendar Options | Resource Scheduling. I would
suspect there is a method to control the response here as well.

Hope this helps! bill
