Calendar items get deleted

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

For ~3 weeks, my calendar is being crazy. I create a new calendar item and it creates fine. Within a few moments the item then deletes. Huge problem! Anyone know what's going on?

Launch Entourage pressing the Option key and rebuild your identity.

Are you using SyncServices?? It could also behave badly and tell
Entourage that all these events have been deleted in iCal...
