Calendar Missing Months

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I have noticed that the calendar only keeps my appointments for 3 months. Everything before that is blank. Right now I have Sept, Oct, Nov. All months before Sept are blank and all my appointments are not there. Is there a way to stop this? I need to be able to refer back to past months to check on past appointments.

Entourage (menu) > Preferences > Calendar

What do you see next to "Delete non-recurring events older than..."?
