calendar notes gibberish

I'm using DateBk 5 on my Tungsten E and syncing with v.X. When I do this,
I've noticed that the notes field associated with a given calendar entry in
Entourage has gibberish in it. This only seems to happen for items that are
created on the Palm, which makes me think it is DateBk 5 related. The
gibberish in question looks something like this:

##@@C@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

What is this?

Agendus (nee Action Names Datebook) does this as well. It is because of the
extra information that Agendus and Datebk allow for each record, eg icons in
the calendar, links to contact records etc. There's clearly no way for
Agendus or Datebk to extend the standard Palm databases that they use, so
they put some "magic" in the first line of the notes record.

Just ignore it.
