Calendar problem?

Hi all,

When it comes to creating new appointments in calendar,i sometimes want to
change the color of the new appointment.

it seems outlook is stubborn not change the color of new appointment:))

But i couldn`t find how to do?

What color are you talking about? The label color or the status color? Also
mention your version of Outlook and whether or not you are using Exchange

i am using office 2000 and the color i am talking about is when you first
created the appointment.

and i want to change that color of the appointment.

that`s what my boss wanted from me.So very urgent.

That still doesn't tell me which color you are talking about.

The status label is Busy, Away, Free etc. The Label is None, Important,
Work, etc

I think this is what your boss wants -

Open the appointment and change it from Busy (blue) to Free (white) to
Tentative (light blue) or Out of office (purple). This setting is beside
the settings for start and end time of the meeting. This setting will show
(in the 1 day Calendar view) with a coloured stripe beside the time of the
meeting. When others try to make an appointment with the boss, they'll see
the various colours with a colour key telling them what each one means.

If the boss has seen someone using a newer version of Outlook, they may have
seen meetings appear on screen with the whole meeting coloured. This is an
Outlook XP function called labelling.
