Calendar Save

I notice that if I create a calendar event and invite people the save button is displayed. But if I create an individual event for myself (a reminder or event), there is no save button so I have to save via keyboard. Seems strange to me that the save is not an automatic button on any type of calendar event.

if you close it, then it asks you if you want to save it...just wondered why the save button pops up on group meeting and not the individual meeting....as I recall the windows version does both

You¹re getting a different action that I get. When I add an event, then
close it, it just closes and saves. Hmmm...

Customize your toolbar to add the Save button. View > Customize Toolbar.

You've selected the option in the Save dialog box to "Always save
changes without asking".

A follow up dialog where you probably also clicked "OK" says "To turn on
save confirmation messages again, click the Reset Confirmation Dialogs
button on the Notifications tab in General Preferences".

This is what I see in Entourage 2008.
