Calendar - What do the colours mean?

In Entourage X, in the calendar (month) view, the background colours
are:

- light pink for today's date
- light blue for weekend days

But what does the blue-gray background colour mean?

This blue-gray background colour appears on some weekdays, some
weekends, on some days with no events, on some days with events, and
do not conincide with holidays...

Did I miss something really simple? Can anyone explain this?

I know it's not a glamorous question, but if anyone could shed some
light for me, I'd appreciate it...

Pink = Today
Dark blue = days not in the current month
Light blue = weekends
White = Weekdays
