Calendars in Mail View Show 2009?

I'm running Entourage 2004 in Mac OS X 10.4.2. In the Mail view
window, there is a calendar in the lower left corner with two months
--- but they are April and May 2009 --- note: 2009. Nothing in that
section will respond --- clicking the arrows to move to the previous or
next month does not work, nor does clicking on a date. I'd like the
current month down there but can seem to get it. Any suggestions?

There's not supposed to be any mini-calendar in the Mail view, just mail
folders and custom views of messages. That's hanging over from Calendar
view.

First just quit and relaunch. If it doesn't fix itself, go to
~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft and remove
com.microsoft.Entourage.prefs.plist and Entourage Preferences files.
Relaunch. If that doesn't help (and you'll have o reset all your prefs),
you'll have to use the Remove Office utility in the Additional Tools
subfolder of /Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/ (it doesn't touch your
data), then reinstall Office from the CD and update to v11.1 again ("Check
for Updates" in the Help menu.

I don't think this relates to the database, but if nothing else fixes it,
rebuild your database.

No, you can't get the (correct) mini-calendar into the Mail area.
