Hi! I posted a few questions on this problem in this forum and got some
really good suggestions. I really appreciate the help I was given.
Nevertheless, the issue remains unsolved.

PROBLEM:

I get over 1000 documents each day that I need to put into a newsletter.
Some of these documents have pictures, charts and graphs embedded.
When the Vertical alignment property for those pictures is set to Absolute,
then when I do mySelection.InsertFile() the pictures stay where they are and
do not move to the next page or down. That “side effect†causes me to spend
3 hrs/day manually reformatting them.

What are my options to programmatically force all images to stay intact with
their parents? In other words, if the text moves to the next page or simply
down the page then the picture should move as well.

"Move with text" checkbox is activated in the advanced layout options

ENVIRONMENT:

Windows XP SP2, Office 2003 SP1 & SP2

Suggest you invest an hour or two experimenting with the properties of the
Shape object. The most important one for your immediate purposes is
LockAnchor, which locks the relationship between the Shape and the paragraph
to which it is anchored --

- the shape will always be on the same page as the anchor range
- if you use relative positioning (you'll see the properties you need to set
for this), it will always have the same relative position to the anchor.
