Can´t install Office 2007 enterprise

K

Kattman

I have installed Office 2007 on several PCs, but when I try to install it on
an ASUS G2 Laptop with Office preintalled it refuses!
I tried to uninstall the preinstalled Office, and succeeded with that, then
I try to install Office 2007 enterprise I get an error and it is a dead stop!
I figured out that it has to do with the Office ready feature on the Laptop,
but how shall I work around it?
Greatful for any tip!
And sorry for my not so perfect english ;-)

Please verify that your Microsoft Office 2007 CD is "genuine".

I shure hope it is genuine :)
I am part of the partnerprogram, and I got the DVD from a package there, so
that should not be the problem.
When I try to install it keeps telling me a file is missing. but that can't
be the case, I used the same disk on ordinary PCs. I am soon to hold a course
in using 2007 and need it on the laptop for that purpose

I'm also having the same problem, with the error being stated as;
"setup cannot find Outlook.en-us\OutlkLR.cab"

Yes my disk is genuine, yes the file actually exists on the disk, but no
matter what I do it refuses to install the program. I'm running Vista
Business.

No matter what research I do there does not seem to be a resolution
available to this problem. Can anyone help?

Try and contact the IT person at the Company from where you got your Enterprise version through the Home Program. They are the ones that can help you since they hold the volume license for your Enterprise version of Office

Hi Kattman,

You may want to check with the MS folks in the MS Partner discussion/newsgroups as well if you're having issues with the
installation from the Action Pack subscription and a preinstalled Office OEM edition. When posting there include the exact message
you're getting.

Be sure you've restarted the PC after uninstalling the prior edition.
