Can 2007 Coexist with 2003??

I

Ira Solomon

I'd like to install 2007, but with all the problems reported I don't
want to find myself with only 2007.
Even if there were no problems at all I must keep Access 2003 as I do
work for clients in that version and I know they aren't going to
upgrade soon.
Thanks.

It can coexist, but
A) you can only have one version of Outlook
b) switching between Access 2003 and 2007, as well as Word 2003 and 2007
will take at least a minute each way. That means, if you go open 2003,
close it, open 2007, setup will run for a minute. If you close 2007,
open 2003, it's another minute probably.

Thanks.
I am perfectly happy to stay with one version of Outlook.
Suppose I created a new user. Installed 2007 just for that user.
Would that obviate the switching problem?
I could just switch users.
I'm not sure that I would do this, but I'm curious as to wether it
would work.

No. The problem is the actual program files. There just can't be two
Outlook versions on the same Windows.
