Can an identity be shared between users?

I've had to set up a second user in OS X 10.4.11 because of a system problem. Can I share my original identity from Entourage 2004 with this new user (myself)? I'll have to log-in to both accounts for a month or two and I don't want to have to switch users just to check email.

Is this possible?

That's what I figured. I'll just keep switching for now until I reinstall the system.

The article in your link is nearly two years old. Apparently the latest
version of CCC addresses all the issues about which that article complained:

I just cloned my disk last weekend with CCC 3.0.1 under 10.5, and as far as
I can tell it preserved creation dates and ACLs. I'm not sure how to check
BSD flags and I don't have any locked files as far as I can recall.
