Hi - Can anyone tell me how to use VBA to create a command button that will
play a movie file when clicked? I've no idea how to use VBA but would
appreciate any pointers to get me going. Thanks, Alan

vba in not necessary to do this

Insert the movie to play automatically
Add an action button to the slide
Double click the entry for the movie in custom animation
In timing set the trigger to be the action button

If you want the video not to show as a still before you click the button add
an entrance animation to the video and drag the entry under the grey trigger
entry but above the video entry. Set both to after previous.

Hope that makes sense.
