You can add a open file to the Favorites menu. Websites marked as Favorites
in Internet Explorer will automatically appear on the Favorites menu.

Follow the steps below to add an OPEN DOCUMENT to the Favorites menu:

1. From the Microsoft Word® Menu Bar, click View point to Toolbars and then
click Web.
The Web toolbar appears.

2. From the Web toolbar, click Favorites and select Add to Favorites.

3. From the Add to Favorites dialog box, type a name for your document in
the File Name box and click Add.

4. Your document now appears under the Favorites items.
Note: Your website bookmarks automatically appear on Web toolbar
under Favorites.

In Word 2000 'Favorites' appears on the Places Toolbar by default. In Word
2003 it doesn't, but you can add any folder, including the Favorites folder
to the places bar, by using the command under 'tools' in the file > open
dialog box.
