Can I change the color of a hyperlink in a signature?

B

Bill

I created a signature file that has a couple of hyperlinks in the
layout. When I tested it, by sending from one of my email accounts to
another, the links were blue. I would like them to be another color
if possible.
Is the blue hyperlink color being set at authoring of the signature,
or by preferences in Entourage X the mail client?
I could not find preferences to set the hyperlink display colors. I
thought maybe I could find the signature file and adjust the HTML, but
could not locate it.
I would appreciate any suggestions or pointers. THANKS.

You'd better look harder then. You may have forgotten what you named the
signature. Tools/Signatures. Look through every one (select and Edit, or
double-click) to find it, if it's not obvious by the name. Change it to
HTML, if it's not already. Select and color the hyperlink however you like -
make it bold too, if you wish. Save.

On future HTML messages, selecting that signature will color and format the
links, and an other text, how you wish. If you use my "Make Hyperlinks X"
script to use a "display text" for the hyperlink, the color and format will
be preserved there too.

(The color of a clicked link will probably depend on the recipient's email
program's settings.)
