Can I delete a number of items in the deleted box,at once not all

P

p.n.

I have a lot of old e-mails in my deleted box like form 2001, I am tired of
doing it one at a time. Some I do want to keep for a while. Is there a way
I can just mark the ones I want gone forever, and keep the rest, without
doing it one at a time.

You can use Ctrl and select multiple emails but clicking each one you want
to delete or hold Shift to select a group. i.e. click the first to be
selected, hold Shift, click the last. You can also use these keys in
combination. For example select a large group using Shift, then hold Ctrl
and then click those you do not want to delete to deselect them.

Now, if this is your Deleted Items folder you are referring to then why not
create a new folder and move those you want to keep? Then you can
right-click the Deleted Items folder and click Empty Deleted Items folder.

Number one - there is a reason the icon for deleted items is a trash can. It should never be used to store items you want to keep. Empty it. Do you keep your sandwich in your trash can at home? No.

Two - ctrl+click the messages you want to delete and press shift+delete.
