Can I fix Excel text in Publisher ?

Hi
I'm preparing cards (using Catalogue merge on a 6 per page template)
for an art festival using an Excel spreadsheet as the data source

Is it possible (on finding a mistake in the Excel text) to edit the
text directly in Pub, rather than having to go back into Excel to edit
the text & start the catalogue merge in Pub all over again

This is my first time trying to do this, so I'm on a new learning
curve !!

What version Publisher are you using?

Are all the entries wrong? If not in Publisher 2003, step #5 in the catalogue
wizard, *Merge to a new publication*. This is in step #3 in 2007. You now can
edit individual entries.

Eventually found the *Merge to a new publication* and would you
believe it in doing so I found some errors I had previously missed
