Can I get all my entourage contacts back?

I updated my mac to OS X 10.4 from 10.2 and it looks like I have to
start all over with setting up my account and that I lost all
data...emails, address, etc...is this the case? Thanks for the help.

Most likely your data just needs to be moved back to Documents. Your
Entourage data is stored in the Microsoft User Data folder. Perhaps during
the update it was moved.

I c. Yes the messages I'm getting from Microsoft are mixed as they
don't know and a couple of reps have mentioned the use of sync
services. I'm hoping this isn't going to be they're strategy though as
it won't sync Notes and the current sync services, although it works,
has problems be it coloured or just even using the sync services
database as this has issues.

Thanks

As Diane suggested, the database containing your email is located here:

/Users/you/Documents/Microsoft User Data

Find that folder from before the 10.4 update and put it in the correct
place and Entourage will again see your email. It's that simple.
