Can I get early birthday reminders?

Calendar pulls birthdays from Contacts and reminds me that "today" is
whoever's birthday. Is there a way for it to also remind me for example, 3
days early, in case I want to send a card? I mean without manually setting a
recurring tasks for each person's birthday.
