can I import contact data from another software program like ACT?

I'm thinking of switching to OUTLOOK for my contact system for clients and
prospects. I'm wondering if I can somehow import the data so I don't have to
manually enter every single contact one at a time in Outlook?

File>Import and Export>Import from a program or file. Chose Act!
