can I import e-mail addresses into a distribution list all at once

and make a distribution list out of...is there a way to do it all at once?

No. You cannot import directly into a DL. You can only import into your
Contacts Folder using the instructions Brian posted.
You can use a list of Addresses to create a DL using the instructions here:
