Can I install office 2000 om top of XP and Works

My new PC has Windows XP Home version and works 7 pre
installed. On my old machine i had Office 2000 premium
edition. Can I just install my Office 2000 on my new PC
or do I have do remove works first. Are ther any special
considerations I need to take as the Office CD wont be
aware of XP or Works 7?
