Can I keep message in outbox for a while?

I sometimes hit send and then wish I hadn't, but the message has gone.
Of course i could just save it in drafts, but that's if I think of it
first. Can I set my outbox to send only after I tell it again?

No. You can set Entourage to Work Offline under Entourage in the menu bar.
This way mail will go to the Outbox, but will not send until you de-select
work offline.

There is an AppleScript that you can use and set a shortcut for that makes
it easy to use. I even have a Schedule set to put Entourage in Work Offline
when I quit or switch Identities.

You and also select "Send Later" (cmd-shift-return) instead of "Send Now"
(cmd-return). "Send Later" puts the message into the Outbox until the next
schedule that includes a "Send All" operation.

Of course, if you have a "Send and Receive All" schedule that operates on a
regular period, the time between when you "Send Later" and when Entourage
sends will depend on how soon the "Send ..." schedule runs.
