Hi,

Select Cell Range
Go Format -> Cells -> Protection
Uncheck "Locked" checkbox
Go Tools -> Protection -> Protect Sheet
*optional: specify password (its case sensitive)

I hope this helps !

This protects the whole sheet. I require to have a block of cells on a
worksheet read only allowing other cells to have data added

Hi
- first select the cells for which you want allow entries
- goto 'Format - Cells - Protection' and uncheck 'Locked'

Hi,

Press CTRL+A to select all cells of Active Sheet
Go Format->Cells->Protection
Uncheck "Locked" Checkbox
Use CTRL key and select all those cells which you want to keep locked for
other users
Go Format->Cells->Protection
Check "Locked" Checkbox
Go Tools -> Protection -> Protect Sheet
*optional: specify password (its case sensitive)

I hope this helps ! Should there be any further queries, please feel free to
