ALEX
So this is the BIG question for me. We use public folders in our
business and while under Entourage X I could access public folders and
read the contents I could NOT move anything from my personal folders
to the public folders.
That for me is a showstopper as I have to open Outlook 2001 every time
I want to move something.
I have read that Entourage 2004 uses OWA as the access method to get
to Exchange - this brings up the SAME question again. When I try to
use OWA from the Mac it also does NOT allow me to move messages from
my inbox to a public folder (I can browse them OK)
When I am on windows XP with MS Explorer - I CAN move messages from my
inbox to a public folder. The explanation for this difference I
remember boiling down to ActiveX - you have it on windows and not on
Mac.
THIS APPLIES TO EXCHANGE 2000 - I would welcome comments from the
MVP's as to whether
1) Enourage 2004 and Exchange 2000 now permit this moving behaviour OR
2) Entourage 2004 AND Exchange 2003 permit this behaviour OR
3) SOL
