Can I project an LCD image while viewing another?

My boss wnats to project his slides via an LCD projector and would like to
actaully view his note pages on his laptop simultaniously (without the group
seeing the notes pages). Is thi spossible with one laptop and one projector?

If the computer supports extended desktop output (different images to each
screen), in PPT go to SLIDE SHOW >> SET UP SHOW >> check PRESENTER VIEW.
