Can I reconfigure the reminder to be longer than 2 days?

For birthdays and Anniversaries, it would be nice to be notified about 1 week
early, like the Works calendar does in order to get cards out in time. Is
there any way to get a longer reminder in Outlook other than setting flags
for each event. This is cumbersome.

Just type your desired reminder time into the box. You can even use
abbreviations sometimes, like 3w for 3 weeks, or 180d for 180 days.
