Can I set an email account to try multiple SMTP servers?

I take my laptop between several different locations. At each one, the ISP
restricts me to using their SMTP servers, so I have to change my settings
several times per day to be able to send messages. Any ideas? The best
thing would be if I could set several SMTP servers for the same account and
chain through them if one fails.

Add all of your accounts to one mail profile and learn to use the Accounts
button when sending mail.

I use the accounts button -- I have 5 different mail accounts that I use
currently and often select which account to send from. (that is why it is
such a hassle to switch the SMTP setting 5 times whenever I swich locations.)
However, I am only using 1 account per email address right now. What are
you suggesting exactly? That for each email account I set up multiple
accounts, and then when I reply I select the one that is best? That's so
crazy it just might work! It would take longer to check through all those
different accounts on receive, but it would def save time in the SMTP
settings area. If I misunderstood your suggestion, please clarify. If not,
thank you! i'll try that...
