I am using Outlook 2003, and Contacts is my default opening page.
I would like to configure the view so that the width of the columns will be
the same as what's going to print. (For some reason I'm having a difficult
time phrasing this question.)
Here's the problem I need to solve:
I am looking at all of the columns I want to print. When I go to print
preview, though, some of the columns won't fit on one page, so instead of say
3 pages I wind up with 6. I have been going back and forth between my view
and print preview, narrowing the columns until they fit on one print page
width. By the time this is done the view on my screen is scrunched small,
with a lot of blank white on the side.
I know there must be an easier way to do this, but I haven't figured out how.
An alternative solution would be to set the print size to fit 1 page wide,
like you can do in Excel, but I haven't been able to figure that out, either.
So does anyone know of a way that I can get what's on my screen to match
what is going to print?
Thank you for any advice.
